If you fairly good with electronics all that needs replacing is a 29p
capacitor. I would recomend that a polyester capacitor be used instead of
the tantalum capacitor mentioned because a tantilum has to be wired the
correct way around. In the UK you can obtain the polyester capacitor from
Maplin part code BX80B (Polyester 0.47uF) cost 29p. Click the link and it
gives a brilliant guid on how to change it. I could of course just place an
advert on the web and rip people off.......

I have a 99 M3 convertible with the lease running out. I am looking at
a new M3, a 330, a Corvette and a Mustang SVT Cobra, all convertibles.
Aside from the obvious issue of price, any comments.

I`ve got a 2002 M3 coupe and love it. As for the convertible I`ve heard
rumours of a poor fitting/rattling top, but I`m not sure if this was limited
